Five centuries is not a number. It is a record of every gun that left Gardone Val Trompia and performed as promised — in the field, on the course, in the hands of generations of shooters who expected nothing less.

The SL3 500 Years Limited Edition is Beretta's most considered statement of that record. Produced by the Pietro Beretta Selection Atelier — the house's highest craft tier — each of 150 guns is hand finished, stocked in Grade 4 walnut, and delivered in a bespoke case built in the same Gardone workshops that have defined Italian gunmaking since the Renaissance. Gray Rose holds fourteen of them.

The Mark

Each gun carries the 500 Years logo inlaid in gold on the underside of the receiver — a mark placed by hand, in the same Gardone workshops that have produced Beretta firearms since 1526. The PB Selection logo is engraved on the trigger guard. Two marks. One lineage.

Each receiver begins with a digital sketch from a master engraver, translated to a 5-axis laser that establishes the base design with exacting precision. From there, rolling and hand-finishing complete the work — game scenes and English scrollwork brought to full depth and dimension only through the patience of human craft.

Hand Polished
The SL3 500 Years carries the same Steelium Pro barrels found on the DT11 — Beretta's most decorated competition platform. A 450mm triple progressive forcing cone runs the length of each barrel, maximising terminal energy and delivering the uniform patterns that have supported Olympic victories across five decades.

Deep Blue Leather,
Burgundy Wool
Handcrafted at the PB Selection Atelier in Gardone Val Trompia. The exterior, finished in deep blue leather with a debossed 500 Years logo, opens to a burgundy wool interior. Each case includes a PB Selection certificate, 500 Years congratulation card, chokes, and leather cleaning kit pouch.
